An author is only successful if their audience follows them. We could write books until we’re 100 years old, but we are nothing without our readers. The struggle of an Indie author like myself is finding that audience (those readers). Traditional publishing not for everyone (usually only if you know someone who knows someone). Indie authors are responsible for their own successes and failures. We hit the ground running and never stop. Marketing, publicity, events – these are all the responsibility of the author. We don’t have the big budgets like the traditional publishing house, and we have 40 hours per week jobs on top of families and other things – so the struggle of an Indie author is real. Support an Indie author and leave use reviews on Goodreads and/or Amazon when you come across our books.
